I loved how this “Belle” named Lyssa, is more warrior than bookish (plus a bit of a Beast herself!), giving this beloved plot line a fresh spin. With great world-building, great characters & a steady flow of action & excitement, this is one of my favorites of the year, for sure! Such a strong debut & I cant wait for more!

This is one of my favorite fairy tales already, and I liked the fun Donnelly had with her own twist on the curse. It makes for a quick and fun read with some added fun with the real natures of the court. Plus, who can resist a thief with a heart of gold? Beau and Arabella‘s story is charming, indeed! I enjoyed this quite a bit!
