Downloaded an ARC from Netgalley Friday afternoon. Started reading around 7:30 Friday night. Finished it at 11:30 after ignoring Noel and the kids all evening. Haha. #betholeary
so-soI didn‘t like #TheRoadTrip as much as her other two books. One of the friends, Marcus, was really annoying and took up way too much space. I also didn‘t really root for the main couple and would have preferred to read about Abbie‘s friend instead.

Heartwarming story of a grandmother (Eileen) who lives in the country (Hamleigh) and a granddaughter (Leena) who lives in the city (London). They decide to switch places for 2 months as they are both grieving the death of Leena's sister, Carla. The writing is enjoyable and the audio narrators capture the characters well. Sad & humorous too. New lives helped them to heal. Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio. Recommended.
