panDid not love this. It was all over the place and never really settled on any tone or vibe - is it supposed to be quirky, funny, deceptively serious? Then it ties up quickly with a “life lesson” and ends.

mom2bugnbee @rubyslippersreads Fun fact - "The Blob" was filmed in my parents' (small) hometown when they were in high school. The film's director lived there, & used many locals in the film. Both the fire chief & the police chief were the actual chiefs for the town, not actors! My parents weren't in the film, but several of their friends were in the movie theater scene 4d
