My son doesn‘t understand the idea of standardised test preparation. 🤦🏼♀️
Honestly, I‘m more concerned about the lack of apostrophe in the “it‘s”. 🤷🏼♀️

Libby1 @Prairiegirl_reading - oh, it‘s hilarious. He said, “I just don‘t think it‘s humourous. They‘re wrong.” 🤣 4y

Libby1 @LeahBergen , @Megabooks , @Oryx , @TrishB , @Angitron , @BarbaraBB , @batsy - yes, he definitely marches to the beat of his own drum! When you‘re 10 or 11 here you have to take this horrible standardised test if you want to get into grammar school. I hate it. We‘re keeping things as light as possible and he may not even take the test. So much pressure for such a tender age. 4y
Oryx @Libby1 I was lucky that my area (Portadown/lurgan) didn't do that test - we did exams at 13/14 for grammar schools, still stressful, but a much better age to deal with it. 4y
Libby1 @oryx - absolutely. It‘s horrible. My son visited Lurgan Junior High and didn‘t like it so the Dickson plan wasn‘t an option for us. I‘m finally reading one of the amazing books you got for me, The Fire This Time. ❤️💔 I love it. I hope you‘re well! 4y
Oryx @Libby1 all good with me - just desperate to get home to visit my mum, but worried about putting her at risk. Although it's not an option now anyway, since Manchester still under restriction. Thankful for video calls at least. 4y
Libby1 (((Hugs))) @Oryx . I hope you can see her in person soon. 🦋 4y
