For those not in Scotland, comedian Janey Godley has been doing voiceovers of our First Minister's daily Covid briefings. They are hilarious and this book is an interesting wee look back of the ups and downs between March and September. She still makes these videos. Check them out on YouTube. Even Nicola, herself, loves them, even making her own official "Frank, get the door!" video ??

Today I completed my GoodReads challenge of 85 books. Thanks to #coronavirus, I completed it in record time!
Thanks to #coronavirus, it was another great reading month! A couple of these I didn‘t really care for, but I enjoyed the rest.

When you are rereading a story about killer viruses that you first read in 2012 and one word stands out 🤦🏻♀️

Many fascinating stories, facts, and ideas crammed into this one. A very ambitious scope for a little over 300 pages making it a bit scattered but also dense at times. Biggest/most distressing takeaway is how human behavior does not seem to have changed at all and we seem to be repeating all the same mistakes over again. 🤦🏻♀️ All in all a worthwhile read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
"Bostrom's point is that there's no guarantee that we will continue to get lucky in the same way....there are DNA 'printers' that allow companies to produce stretches of DNA quickly & cheaply... imagine if, someday, those DNA printers could be brought into the home...& someone could home-cook a copy of the 1918 Spanish flu. One human could trigger the end for us all." ? #covid19 #coronavirus

I feel like I have been working super hard due to the #coronavirus. I need to get back to reading, so I can finish the #Blufordseries. I hope my Litsy family is safe.
