GingerAntics I really hope this isn‘t some sweeping statement that all white people are this way, because we‘re really not. 6y

Jane Eyre | Charlotte Bront
post image

I mostly read fantasy & sci-fi so most genres (chick-lit, historical fiction, romance, etc.) fall outside my comfort zone. Last year I decided to try to read more books in any genre other than SFF (esp. books by women). I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Jane Eyre, Alias Grace & Bridget Jones's Diary. I ended up buying more Atwood & Fielding & want to find more C. Brontë. #Riotgrams #BookOutsideYourComfortZone @bookriot

TK-421 Also, I think these books work for #TimbitTunes #ThatGirl? @Cinfhen @TheKidUpstairs 6y

Emilymdxn I‘m trying to expand my reading too! It can be so rewarding right?? So glad you enjoyed these all 3 of those are some of my favourite books. 6y
jenniferw88 Brontë's other novels are: Shirley, Villette & The Professor. Don't forget to try Emily & Anne Brontë too! 6y

TK-421 @jenniferw88 All of Charlotte's novels are on my tbr radar, I just need to buy or borrow them. I own a lovely used copy of Wuthering Heights & it's on my #LitsyAtoZ2019 list. I may try Agnes Grey or the Tenant of Wildfell Hall this year too. 6y
jenniferw88 @TK-421 I thought that might be the case after I commented lol! Oh well, if other littens didn't know what the books were called, they do now! 😂😂😂 6y
