He is set on the trail of a serial killer when a girl covered in blood runs into him as he returns home. Faye‘s use of the criminal slang of the time, called Flash, works really well. Although set in different historical periods, this reminded me a little of The Alienist.⬇️
I‘m also a little sad that this is only a trilogy as I already love several of the characters. 4y
