💛 Last weekend I got to watch my nephew play in his senior Homecoming game!
💛 It was also the annual fall festival in my hometown with lots of fun festival food, including the pineapple whip in the photo.
💛 Mums and pumpkins and beautiful weather to enjoy it all
💛 Getting a step closer to adding high school math to my teaching certification
💛 The pets!

💛 They harvested the soybeans around my house this week. I love being around for harvest, and Luthien loves that we now have open fields for running.

Daisey @mabell Well, she had already been up at 2am to go outside and then to bark incessantly at some critter in the yard, so I wasn‘t feeling especially sympathetic to her wish to stay in bed. 😆 2mo

Daisey @Sace It always takes me a get to get started, but then it really helps me feel ready for a new year. I‘ve found this little bulletin board display where I set out a few books each month from a different genre or relating to a specific topic works well for making some different books visible to students. 2mo

Daisey @Texreader Last year was tough because it was the switch to all math, but getting books off my shelf (a collection of my own books I‘ve built over years so they didn‘t just go to another teacher) and into their hands is still really important to me. 2mo
