We have been on a Canadian cruise for the past two weeks. The joys have been numerous! Top 5 (so far) in no particular order:
1. The gorgeous views from the deck of the ship.
2. Lobster Rolls, Poutine, Beaver Tails.
3. The way the Canadians honor their heritage- First Nation, French, British
4. Lovely towns and cities, stunning scenery everywhere.
5. The wonderfully friendly, warm, welcoming Canadian people!

This week has been hectic and honestly a bit miserable - the AC at my work is broken and it's been almost 90 degrees this week 🥵
Joys: 1&2 - Oakley and Ben snuggles, 3 - seeing Indiana Jones in the theater with a big ol' bucket of popcorn, 4 - birds at my feeders, 5 - a cool house to come home to each evening!!
I just got home yesterday from a two week trip to Alaska, so my joys for these weeks are all about that.

This work week has been draining, I've mostly been holding on to joy from the past weekend. Lewis and I had a mini-getaway to Asheville. A friend was in an outdoor performance of The Book of Will, which was excellent & very fun! We wandered around old neighborhoods and the Botanical Gardens. We ate some delicious food and hung out with awesome people. With the city
1. Our favorite restaurant opened a new branch at the racetrack.
2. We went to Ocean City. This is the view from our friend‘s condo.
3. A vendor that I liked at the farmers market last summer is back this year, just under a different name.
4. Nationals Night Out. The game was lousy, but I loved the company and atmosphere.
