Pretty much all of my joys this week revolve around a snowy week.

1. Sneaking in a last bit of Christmas joy with my niece at the Speedway Christmas Lights show
2. Back on my aerial journey after a long break, feels great to be back at it! (although also sore 😅)
3. Found a new Christmas tree in a great after-the-holidays sale
4. Pets for the cat that lives at the groomer, his name is Squint & he's adorable 😻
5. Cam snuggling my shoes while waiting in my office to go home 😹
💛 Litsy! As I compiled book stats this week, I considered again how Litsy has impacted my reading life. Thank you all for your part in this community.
💛 Seeing progress made on long term reading goals and reviewing great reads from the past year
💛 Time for Luthien to run and good weather for me to walk while visiting family
💛 The cats and all their snuggles
💛 Extra time this week for some canning baking projects

💛 On these days I spend at my sister‘s house, Luthien gets to spend hours running miles in the woods, and I know where she is and can call her in thanks to her tracking collar.

1. Fun times at my work holiday party with my hubby
2. Cookie decorating with my niece
3. We did presents with her as well since they are traveling for Christmas and I loved watching her play with her new tiles with Lewis. She's really starting to open up with him more
4. Silly cats
5. Great bookclub discussions with my friends
Usually I‘m considering what to share at the end of the day, but this morning I‘m ready to share my simple joys from the week. Wishing everyone a joyful Friday!

💛 Attending my hometown Christmas tree lighting and caroling (I only make it on years Thanksgiving is late and aligns with the first Sunday of December)
💛 The snow had completely melted off the roads for my late night drive back to my house

3. We hosted Friendsgiving this year! I never care about the food aspect of the holiday but can't beat the company!
4. I joined some online friends in an ARTvent calendar challenge to try to learn digital art. We have a small prompt for each day in December. Pictured are my apple and mushroom 🍄

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! Our celebration is later this weekend 😊 My joys from the week:
1. Got my hair cut short again and I love the length 💇🏼♀️
2. Arthur going wild over a new toy 😺
3. Cam keeping me company while I work on my journal 😻
4. Finally new cabinets were installed in the kitchen at work after a major leak
5. Saw Wicked yesterday and it was amazing 🤩🩷💚
💛 I made this year‘s Christmas fruitcake!
💛 I had a good day of professional development and an afternoon iced coffee since I was in town.
💛 We had a few days this week when I could wear jeans and flannel to school.
💛 Heat in my house that works well now that it‘s getting colder.
💛 The pets, as usual. Watching & listening to Luthien run is pure joy, and the cats have been extra snuggly lately.

It's been a laidback week but pretty joyful
1.The special edition that I splurged on arrived and it's so pretty 😍
2. Cam had some tests done at the vet but everything came back alright
3. Oakley spent some time outside and loved rolling around on the concrete

5. Pretty sunset on the way home from work today ☀️

Not gonna lie, it's been hard finding much joy this week. So instead, I'm gonna share some of my joys from the past few weeks since I've been absent here.
-our wedding had beautiful weather and a gorgeous sunset backdrop
-my amazing bridal party who helped make the day flawless

2. I was approved for more Netgalley ARCs
3. This T-shirt I ordered online from Piper & Ivy arrived in the mail this week.
4. I wore this shirt on Halloween.
5. I drew this oracle card for the week from my ocean life oracle deck.
My dog passed away on Fri, Oct 25 so I‘m looking forward to listening to my new CD the most.

1. Daughter brought me this postcard from the Maurice Sendak exhibit in Denver. We both loved him when she was a kid.
2. Beautiful leaves on the tree on my deck. Sadly, now they‘re mostly on the deck.
3. So many library books to get to! But I love having choices.
4. Had my flu shot. Only shot left this year is Prolia.
5. Fun brunch with daughter and boyfriend. I love seeing them in love.

💛 A couple trips to UCM for a play to see a former student perform and a day of professional development where I also got to meet up with another former student for a bit.
