Short answer...nothing.

But I did learn that the ideal temperature for popping popcorn is 365F. Remember that the next time your microwave burns your popcorn!

As a nurse, I‘ve seen dead bodies and spent time in the morgue, but I had no idea that there can be enough electricity stored in the muscles to cause a twitch 12 hours later. Not creepy at all. 😬

Marmie7 Same here @LauraJ I worked Hospice and we had bodies that sat for hours before funeral homes came to get them. Glad I never witnessed that! 5y
LauraJ @Marmie7 Me too! 5y
Balibee146 A friend's mum used to work in a morgue.... She told stories about bodies that would twitch and sigh hours and hours after death.... Yikes 😱 5y
Amiable Isn‘t that how/why wakes were instituted—to watch the body for a few days to make sure the person was really dead? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere. 5y

Pickpick

Most of the material in this book is review for me, so the audiobook was fine. A hard copy should be easier to follow for those with less familiarity, as it hopefully includes graphics to summarize more complex concepts. Would have preferred more science and less storytelling. #FIL adequate sleep and stress reduction are still the best things to keep our immune systems functioning smoothly. Good luck with that. 😉 #nfnov
