I'll just use Eliza's words “This is amazing. I . . . I can‘t even tell you how much I love it.”
Seriously, this book was such a great read. Sweet, emotional, full of angst and I fell in love with the characters.
Looking forward to the next books.

I‘ve decided to join the #14Books14Weeks2021 summer #readathon even though it‘s winter in my part of the world. The best reading time is under a blanket with a hot cup of tea or coffee with rain hitting the windows anyway*sigh* I‘ve chosen a pretty eclectic #stack here with SciFi, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Magical Realism, Cosy Crime & even a NF about a wooden ship that was lost during the Arctic expeditions in the 1800s. Some great choices🙌
Tillie Cole does it again with this dark romance. It‘s gritty and beautiful. I kept turning pages excited to see what would happen next. It‘s a stand alone novel, but I really hope book 2 comes along to answer some serious questions!!!
Cheska is the daughter of an undemonstrative man. She meets Arthur Adley when they are 13 and never forgets him. Adley is the son of the Adley firm leader. They are one of the largest crime families in London.
Super angsty which I enjoyed. I loved Zero. I just felt like the characters never grew at all - and they both needed to. Still an enjoyable book for what it was.
4/5 ⭐️
I‘ve had Aly Martinez on my radar for a while and kept putting her off for some reason. #bookbonanza19 brought her to the top of the list now. I‘m enjoying this series more than I thought in the beginning. I‘m looking forward to starting the next book.
