Pickpick

This is a really good book with a lot of really good information. Some of it is not 100% correct (literally 2 things), but since those things are not common knowledge, it‘s hard to know one must ask, let alone knowing WHO to ask. Still, very important conversations should be started by this book. We MUST stop acting like men are these helpless sex havers, and it‘s on women to prevent pregnancy.

GingerAntics This is not about men taking all responsibility. This is about men taking ANY responsibility, preferably half. #GabrielleBlair #GabrielleStanleyBlair #EjaculateResponsibly #MenAreResponsibleToo 6d

Let‘s be clear, FDA drug approval requires that the side effects are not as severe, are better, and are safer than the effects they are preventing. All the side effects of female birth control are better and safer than the effects of pregnancy. ANY side effects in male birth control will exclude it, since the only side effects of sperm rich ejaculation are a potential mess to be cleaned up and possible embarrassment if not when/where intended.

GingerAntics 2/2 the argument that “we don‘t mind if women suffer as long as it makes things easier for men” is still 100% true. #GabrielleBlair #GabrielleStanleyBlair #EjaculateResponsibly #BirthControl #MaleBirthControl (edited) 6d

To be fair, an insane number of people DON‘T cover their nose and mouth when they sneeze… especially in the COVID era. They think they‘re acting against “wokeness” and the “radical left.” They‘re just being gross, and it‘s one more way conservatives show they genuinely do not care about other people. Moral majority my 🫏! I have seen these lunatics literally sneeze on a sign asking people to cover their sneeze or wear a mask.

AnnCrystal 😢🙏🏼...when the pandemic first began, my dad took off his mask and blew his breath several times towards my mom. While my mom and I were and remain cautious, he always refused to be.

Yeah, my dad's a republican, voted for little-t (every time). While that's his right, to vote for who he wants...It's sad knowing how different our opinions are.

Bookwormjillk Is that what that‘s about? I‘ve been noticing the not covering mouth while sneezing thing. 6d

GingerAntics @AnnCrystal it‘s truly heartbreaking how many men are willing to openly and unabashedly harm their wives, daughter, sisters, mothers. They‘re not women, so they just don‘t care. 6d
GingerAntics @Bookwormjillk I can‘t say it‘s the reason EVERY time. I‘m sure some folks have Alzheimer‘s or similar and don‘t realise what they‘re doing. It‘s just stunning how many of the people wearing MAGA hats that openly do this. I‘ve even heard some people in these hats saying this is America, they are native born Americans, and they can do what they want. They‘re openly admitting their contempt for everyone around them. 6d
Bookwormjillk @GingerAntics it‘s been late 20‘s early 30‘s men that I‘ve seen 6d
GingerAntics @Bookwormjillk oh, then probably this. Yeah. 6d
AnnCrystal @GingerAntics too incredibly sad 😢🙏🏼💝. 6d
GingerAntics @AnnCrystal it really is 6d

I‘m sorry, but this is starting to annoy me. As the person who spent my entire working day trying to explain to men why they had to have an exam BEFORE they could be scheduled for a vasectomy, let‘s make it clear. MOST are done in a doctor‘s office. The exam before is to see if you will need to have it done under general anaesthesia. Reasons general would be needed? Blood vessels and pain tolerance.
👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

GingerAntics 2/5 BLOOD VESSELS - if a man has too many blood vessels where the incisions need to go, it is far safer to have the procedure under general anaesthesia because there are greater options to stop bleeding and prevent complications in those situations in a surgical setting. I can‘t tell you the number of men who refused to get a vasectomy after hearing this. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 (edited) 6d
GingerAntics 3/5 PAIN TOLERANCE - as part of the pre-vasectomy exam, the doctor has to check where the blood vessels are to see if the first (and main) reason for use of general anaesthesia is necessary. For MOST men, this is not physically uncomfortable. For some, it is. In this case, general anaesthesia is required to control pain during the procedure, as reducing pain DURING the procedure helps reduce pain AFTER the procedure. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 (edited) 6d
GingerAntics 4/5 Men will often hang up on you or say they need to check their schedule and will call back to schedule the procedure (and never call back) the second they hear about pain. Some men are done when they hear a medical professional they‘ve never met before will be examining their genitals for anything other than the procedure. It‘s easy. Yes. It‘s easier than a woman getting her tubes tied. Yes. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 (edited) 6d

GingerAntics 5/5 HOWEVER, It‘s important not to disregard men‘s aversion to pain and having people look at their genitals. Having a stranger they have never met (and never want to meet) look at their wife‘s/girlfriend‘s/partner‘s genitals annually to get the pill is in no way part of the equation for them, nor would they care if it was. #GabrielleBlair #GabrielleStanleyBlair #EjaculateResponsibly #facts #urology #vasectomy (edited) 6d
GingerAntics Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk! 6d
marleed I‘ve really enjoyed your TED talk - very informative! 6d
GingerAntics @marleed thank you! I feel like I spent hours and hours having this exact conversation with one person at a time. I might as well put it out there for a larger audience. Maybe I should make a YouTube video or a TikTok. 🤣😂🤣 6d
