This is Genji‘s son‘s thought towards his father. I think it references the same part of #Genji37 that @Lindy mentioned in her post, but I had to comment on it again. Genji‘s perceived perfection and inability to see that he condemns others for the exact things he has done himself is incredibly frustrating. I appreciate at least seeing his son point it out.

No church this morning due to icy roads, so I made a breakfast quesadilla and am ready to tackle a bit more of this book. I finished chapters 35 & 36 before breakfast, and it looks like #Genji37 might be a shorter chapter so maybe I‘ll make good progress today. However, from the posts I‘ve seen (not reading too closely while I‘m behind) and these men‘s behavior, I may need to take a break between each chapter, short or not.
