pickThis book exceeded my expectations. It was even better than Unsub. The story did not end on a predictable note. It kept me guessing and then dished out even more surprises. I recommend this book and series to anyone who is a fan of authors like Stephen King, James Patterson, Sarah Bailey, Riley Sager and AJ Finn. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I‘m not going to lie: one of my favorite things about my job is that I get my lil‘ paws on books before anyone else. I covered a batch of new arrivals last week, and ended up staking my claim on a bunch. This is why I picked up “Unsub” in the first place (I have to read series in order!!) and I‘m so glad I did. I need to get on with some ARCs; they all came in at once!! I‘m going to try and read #TheChalkMan before Friday when everyone makes their #BOTM picks (I‘ve already reviewed ‘The Wife Between Us‘). I‘m excited for all three: #IntoTheBlackNowhere should be an exciting thriller, inspired by the Ted Bundy case, and I have been waiting FOREVER for #ReignOfTheFallen. I have a hard copy coming too, AND won a prize to be written into Sarah‘s sequel! 🙀
