A bit slow towards the last third with an abrupt end around where my knowledge of her starts, so I guess I need book #2 Home Work next.
I dislike her mother. Not as much as Judy Garland's mother or Jennette McCurdy's mother, but I do dislike her.

1. We used to play this word game that was kinda like Scrabble but one word at a time. I don‘t remember what it was called. Outside, my friends and I would make up elaborate scenarios and act them out then judge our acting.
2. I saw The Sound of Music with my family when I was pretty young, and I‘ve loved it ever since then.

As a Julie Andrew‘s fan I thought this book would be exciting and fun to read. It was so boring and longwinded. Barely focus on each individual film and it was like reading a very long wikipedia page.

A really interesting read, it covers her childhood and early stage career. I'm looking forward to reading the follow up book that covers her movie career (Mary Poppins is one of my all time favourite movies!)
This book was alright, but nothing too inspiring or interesting. It was nice that Andrews read it herself. Her voice is a delight. Otherwise I might have thumbs downed it.
