Found this in a cute café/library on the way today, very funny texts and illustrations.
Through the window there is a very foggy sea view.

I love this prompt!! It reminded me of my beloved Ladybird books that introduced me to reading.I used to have all of these!

I had to surrender to the fact I could not locate these books? Hence, that is why the title is slightly confusing! Anyway fellow Littens - check out the retro kittens…this is what I found in my 1970‘s school satchel; historic Ladybird books and no other item that required a battery, charger or app! Good days…mud days. #LadybirdBooks
Wish I‘d of known about this sooner - doubt I‘ll make it before the show closes but I bet it‘s fab !

Short review for a very short book.
The first line is "When there is no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the Earth." Obviously borrowed from Dawn of the Dead.
Anyway, it's a fun and amusing little book, which is completely tongue-in-cheek and I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Definitely not for children as there's a couple of gory illustrations.
It's not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination but it's a fun, little read.
Finding homes for some vintage favourites! #booksarebest
This is my original 1950s copy - beautifully illustrated by C. F. Tunnicliffe. Penguin have recently re-made this book and it‘s sad to see how what we need to look out for in autumn has changed so much. Climate change and urbanisation is so very obvious when you look at the things missing from the 2921 edition. 😕
Love this 😍 and it's so true!
But you do get a sore nose if the book lands on you ... speaking from experience 🤣📖📚
