This! This book right here! 💙💜💙 I just started it this morning and it is glorious! I've read some pretty good books lately but most didn't grab me like this one has. Loving it!

RaimeyGallant How was it in the end? #LitsyTimeMachine 7y

This was the May box from @Flickeringbooks themed mostly around ACOWAR in honor of its release! I LOVE the prints and the Raven King and Rhysand candles are my favorite!

Also ACOWAR was an amazing book and I can't wait for the new books in that world!

RaimeyGallant By the way, a belated welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon #LitsyTimeMachine 7y

Real World | Natsuo Kirino

I've had quite a long weekend to indulge into a new (albeit borrowed) book.

I'm currently reading Natsuo Kirino's Real World, which is a thriller, and although I don't love it, but there is undoubtedly something irresistible about the book. I also like how it's getting darker (and creepier) by each chapter.

I'm through three chapters and hoping to finish the book by tomorrow.

So that took a while. After months and months of being stuck on the same page, I was able to power through this novel. Being a fan of the first three books, I was really excited to experience this book again. Unfortunately the only thing it had me hooked on was the nostalgic aspect. It wasn't horrible, but I definitely wouldn't read again. I would, however, consider re-reading the Relentless Series again.

Thoroughly un-put-down-able. I have to say it gets bonus points for not really having the protagonist be a special snowflake 😂 I really liked that he was considered a weakling and just used his mind to win his battles.
I can't wait for the next one. 👍🏻📚😊

Booksandlemonsquash I did see some of the twist, largely about the Sha'tep and Abydos, but they were very well done. I hope to see more of the politics of this world in the next book.
And I will definitely be going out and searching for more books by Sebastien De Castell, cause this was great.
