An entertaining YA sci-fi book with sympathetic space pirates and romances. #owlreadathon #MagicalReadathon2020

Arithmancy OWL Exam: 3.75⭐️

Written by a man who has dedicated a large portion of his life to chasing the next eclipse, the author takes you on a journey through the history of solar eclipses and the role they play in society. I loved the comments on the connections between these events and religion as well as the timeline of how science and society started observing and tracking these events

I am all set up for this #OWLReadathon in April. I saw posts on Twitter last year but hadnt joined. Joined up this year. Each class has a challenge line, read a book meeting it and you pass the OWL. One prompt per book. Then later in the year you have a chance to take NEWTs based on how you do on OWLs

wanderinglynn This sounds like so much fun! 6y

RainyDayReading I‘m so excited to do this again! Though my TBR is exceptionally daunting. 6y
RainyDayReading @LibrarianJen G from BookRoast on YouTube is the creator for it. The Twitter is a good place to watch out for it but she also posts a lot on her channel. There‘s no real “sign up” for it. Just say you‘re going to do it, use the hashtag and do it! 😊 She does have a cool print out complete with possible wizarding careers you could do. 6y
LibrarianJen Oh awesome! I‘ll have to look into it 6y
