This one was so convoluted in its plot I kept losing that plot. I like his writing, and loved his siege series but this one I think I'll pass on the rest of the series.

pickI am really enjoying this fantasy series - it‘s clever, intricately plotted, wryly humorous in places, and full of memorable characters. Each chapter zooms in on a tiny part of the story but slowly the larger picture is emerging and gosh, it‘s good!
so-so3✨ After the incident from the last book we learn more about their new mission. We add more characters to the list who both at first are not ideal. Then they make a discovery that helps to comfort them in their zombie apocalypse.
