Three books in & these are proving to be reliably fun & clever middle-grade/YA mysteries. I enjoy being in Hazel's head & this is an homage to Christie's Murder on the Orient Express that hits all of the right notes. I just found the cast of characters excessively annoying in this version; it really shouldn't matter, but it got to the point where I was hoping that all of them would perish in some unfortunate way (except for the Junior Pinkerton).

I love these Wells and Wong mystery books. There‘s something just so cozy about.

In this one Hazel‘s father takes the girls with on the Orient Express for the summer holidays. Upon arrival they meet an acquaintance from from of the previous books that tells them that there‘s a spy onboard. Then one of the passengers gets killed. Are these two things related, or not?

The first book of the year, I read into the early hours and it didn‘t fail to impress me. The third book in the series and based on the Orient Express, the author keeps you guessing throughout even though I thought I‘d worked out “Who dun it”. A great middle grade read and looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thought I‘d move away from festive reads. I‘ve read the first two in the series so on to the third. Recommended by my daughter too 📖

First Class Murder is the 3rd book in the Murder Most Unladylike. This time the girls are on the Orient Express and of course they get dragged into a new mystery. I really love these books! #crimenovels

Another enjoyable and fast paced story! Daisy and Hazel are on holiday and have been forbidden to do any detecting, but when faced with two mysteries - a spy and a murder - they obviously have to get involved! A clever mystery and a fun and easy read 🧡

Why, yes. I am using #Bailey as a book rest. If she‘s going to use the entirety of my lap as a pillow, it seems fair that I put her to work. 😆

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The third installment in the Wells and Wong mystery series is a homage to Murder on the Orient Express. It takes place in the 1930's during summer holiday from Hazel and Daisy's English boarding school while on a train, the Orient Express. Soon a murder takes place that is eerily similar to Agatha Christie's new book. The girls use their knowledge of the book to help solve the murder. I adore this cute series.
