JenlovesJT47 @TheBookHippie @GingerAntics 🤗♥️♥️♥️ Poirot is the best! 2w
GingerAntics @JenlovesJT47 I‘ve been suggested some of his series before, but I‘m overwhelmed by this massive series. Do you feel they can be read in any order, or do you think the order is specific? I‘ve found like 6 different opinions online. 2w
dabbe @GingerAntics I don't think it matters at all. I've read a bunch of his out of order, and they've been fine. If you're interested, though, the #ChristiesCapers group is reading all of Christie's books in chronological order (including others without Poirot). Check it out if interested! 🧡💜💛 2w
dabbe Where did you find that pic? It's goes perfect with your words--plus you nailed him! 🧡💜💛 2w
GingerAntics @dabbe I am SO overwhelmed with ALL of her books. She clearly wrote A LOT for a long while! Good on her, honestly. I just feel so lost among them all. I‘m trying to dip my toe in as it were. 2w
JenlovesJT47 @GingerAntics I agree with @dabbe in my experience it doesn‘t matter too much if you read them out of order. I did try to do it chronologically for a bit. The best by far in my personal opinion is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, and for a non-Poirot book I‘d go with And Then There Were None (greatest mystery novel of all time!). I also enjoy the Poirot short stories. 2w
JenlovesJT47 @dabbe I found this pic on Pinterest! I have a French Poirot one I‘ll be posting tomorrow. 🤗♥️♥️♥️ 2w
JenlovesJT47 @GingerAntics And! Murder On The Orient Express is my second favorite Poirot and the 1974 movie is phenomenal with an all-star cast. The remake was ok but not great imo. 2w
GingerAntics @JenlovesJT47 @dabbe thanks guys! That is actually really helpful! 2w
dabbe @GingerAntics Well, as far as Poirot goes, you can dip in and out wherever you want. They all read like their own separate books. My fave with him is THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD. 🧡💜💛 2w
dabbe @JenlovesJT47 It looks like one you can create on an AI site. Have you ever tried this one? You just tell it what you want, and it's amazing what it can come up with. Here's the link: https://labs.google/fx/tools/image-fx 💜🩶💛 2w
GingerAntics @dabbe @JenlovesJT47 well, that‘s two votes for The Murder if Roger Ackroyd, so I guess I better figure out about poor Roger‘s murder. lol 2w
dabbe @GingerAntics I also ditto what @JenlovesJT47 said about AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. That's my favorite Christie of ALL time. Loved teaching it to my high school students who also adored it! You've got some reading to do! 😂😍😂 2w
JenlovesJT47 @dabbe ooh thank you for this! Down the rabbit hole I go! 🐰 2w
JenlovesJT47 @dabbe omg what have you done! 😅 I have to post the first pic I generated. First thing that popped into my head was Don Draper in Florida (Mad Men is my favorite show) and the results were 🤌🏻 2w

There were some fun ones in this collection, like Knox's Holmes tribute/pastiche. Trains really are such a fertile ground for mysteries...

Starting to get more than a little autumnal.

I have a long weekend now, after the travel and stress of this week. So enjoying rain against the window, a British Library Crime Classics collection, and videogames.
