As posted about, I've been reading, yet lately, been finding it difficult to keep myself fully entranced by the words.

I hadn't wanted to finish reading this while I was only able to half immerse myself into the story.

And I'm glad. I wouldn't have been able to truly appreciate the last few chapters if I hadn't hit the pause button for a weekend rechargeathon.

👇

AnnCrystal With such an incredibly grand story, I needed to make sure I was ready to continue the journey into this beautiful world.

Which this is my kind of world, my kind of reality. A world of magic, hope, and discovering that anything can be possible if only you try.

This story is one magical scene after another, a magic that is deep and meaningful...this is a remedy.

Sleep Like Death | Kalynn Bayron

Pickpick

I absolutely adore Kalynn Bayrons books, but I do think I would have liked this in paper more than I did the audio, and I wish I‘d read it that way. I just didn‘t feel the narration sadly. Because the story was AWESOME, genuinely quite scary and unpredictable.

Dreams Lie Beneath | Rebecca Ross

Pickpick

Another great Rebecca Ross book! I love her magic systems- they are always unique. In this one wardens record nightmares and have to fight them every month until a curse is broken. Lots of magical secrets and disguises with a satisfying ending. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's not even halfway through January but I know this will be a strong contender for my best read of 2025. Dual time line, a strong fantasy element, with realistic characters and setting, and a strong female protagonist, this is everything I want in a book. If you've had this on your list for a while, don't hesitate.

This is pretty fun. If you need a fantasy palette cleanser. With some polyamory. Honestly? Who doesn't?

Enjoyable, but not outstanding. I liked the fairytale aspects and the little bit of horror. The romance was sweet, but I saw the plot twists coming from a mile away. Wouldn‘t reread it, but a a breezy, entertaining read.
