Yeah I'm in. I need a kick in the butt to get reading again.

-1 GN a day
-Finish my Audio book The Last Firl Standing
-Finish my LMPC book and MAIL
-Start Ballad of... or Aurora Burning

Lets see how I do.

#CYOreadathon @Sace

Sace This reminds me of my goal making....here's the list, now let's see what actually happens.😁 5y
LibrarianRyan @Sace Exactly. Once I get the staff schedule done I am all caught up at work and will probably get my pbs read while out there. Here's hoping. 😉 5y
Sace What does PB stand for? I keep thinking peanut butter 😁 5y

LibrarianRyan @Sace picture books. Short hand PB= picture books, MG= Middle Grade, YA = young adult. 5y
Sace Oooohhhh...MG and YA I knew. I had not seen PB before. 5y
LibrarianRyan @Sace I spent to long reading #Pitmad pitches yesterday and the short codes was about the only way to tell where a book pitch was aimed 5y

Amazon is evil but so convenient so many mixed feeling about the company. This post isn‘t about that though. It‘s about the headline. This headline makes me both happy and very sad. I love that people are taking the time and learning, myself included, but that we still have to educate ourselves so much, myself included, makes me sad and angry.

LibrarianRyan I agree. About the only thing that made me happy about this was Black Authors books, especially debut YA novels that sold out. On twitter at least they were redirecting people to Bookstore.org and Books and Crannies online book stores. 5y
OrangeMooseReads @LibrarianRyan I agree that is a fantastic part of this. I haven‘t been on Twitter much in recent days so that is awesome to see that people have been directing away from Amazon. 5y

LibrarianRyan @OrangeMooseReads I have found Twitter easier to handle lately mainly because most of my twitter is Book twitter. I had lots of fun yesterday reading all the #Pitmad entries. 5y
Sace Twitter over the past few days made me realize I've been gathering a lot of these books since the 2016 election but I have yet to read them. I did buy a few more from Bookstore this week. 5y
Sace And thanks for acknowledging the convenience of Amazon. I go back and forth with my Amazon guilt. 5y
