“Mr.Peabody knew that he would need to teach his students a lesson about words.“

This book can teach character education and I could use the stories to discuss the impact of gossip, rumors, and the importance of integrity. After reading this book, I could also lead a discussion and talk about the scenarios where students practice honesty and and respect.

A group of boys keeps a scorecard about who touches girls the most. Nobody believes her or really cares. She doesn't want to bother her mom with her issues, so she keeps her thoughts inside. She learns karate, and that becomes her outlet. Illuminates issues of problems in today's world that will probably never go away. The characters are convincing and credible. The story can help talk about things that are hard to talk about.

Beautiful tale of how a neighborhood copes with War and finds comfort in stories. History is filled violent attempts to prevent people from access to literature. #readforperspective #peace

The author was just six years old when she participated in the 2016 Women‘s March. She has a memory of her friend Mari holding up her homemade sign that said, “Love is powerful.” Mari did not believe her voice could be heard, but when she yelled love is powerful she was surprised that others returned her call.

Positively one of my favorite children's books for multiple reasons. First, the illustrations are breathtaking. Next, I love the build-up of the story. Mr. Peabody is a good guy (he coaches a kids' baseball team!)... Did he really just steal an apple?? Which bring me to finally, the moral of the story. Things are not always as they seem, and it is best not to start any rumors.

Fabulous children's book, and I would highly recommend!!

@ljuliel asked Littens to share a book that touched them emotionally so here goes (you don‘t need to explain but ... 😊). I haven‘t been a teenager in quite some time and it had been years since I‘d read YA but something made me pick this series up at a horrific time while struggling in Mumbai. It reminded me how much of an escape and a joy reading could be & bought me back to myself. It was also one of the first books I posted to Litsy 😊♥️😊

ljuliel Wonderful story to go with this book. They really can sometimes remove us from real life and take us elsewhere. Not all books do that for me, but it‘s great when I find one like that. 5y
