This book can teach character education and I could use the stories to discuss the impact of gossip, rumors, and the importance of integrity. After reading this book, I could also lead a discussion and talk about the scenarios where students practice honesty and and respect.

pickPositively one of my favorite children's books for multiple reasons. First, the illustrations are breathtaking. Next, I love the build-up of the story. Mr. Peabody is a good guy (he coaches a kids' baseball team!)... Did he really just steal an apple?? Which bring me to finally, the moral of the story. Things are not always as they seem, and it is best not to start any rumors.

I haven‘t been a teenager in quite some time and it had been years since I‘d read YA but something made me pick this series up at a horrific time while struggling in Mumbai. It reminded me how much of an escape and a joy reading could be & bought me back to myself. It was also one of the first books I posted to Litsy 😊♥️😊
