August 26 is Women's Equality Day
While I don't consider myself a feminist, I guess that I kinda am...
When I was a kid, I told myself that as soon as I was able to vote, I would register under the Green Party.
When that time came, I realized three facts.
1- My county (Los Angeles) hadn't had a female mayor (at the time). Karen Bass officially took office in 2022. 👇

3- My USA never had a female president.
I therefore vowed, “I will not register to vote until I can vote for a female for president (who had a promising chance at winning).
And I kept that promise to myself until Hillary Rodham Clinton ran for president. I registered under, No Party Preference. 👇 (edited) 3mo
I continued to vote since then (for men and women). Now that V.P. Kamala Harris is running, here's hoping she Makes America Proud Again 🇺🇲🦅🇺🇸. (edited) 3mo
