May sees the end of novels from #ReadingMM 😔😔

5 #ebooks
Only #rereadingRamotswe20 was a paperback
Except for the NF, the rest are worthy of 5 🌟

Buechersuechtling Imagining a giraffe 🦒 crying 😢 makes me sad, myself. (Yepp, I might be a giraffe-🦒-fan …🤷🏽‍♀️🥰) 4y
BookishMe @Buechersuechtling oops! Let me check the reference in the book... The series has rather unusual titles 😉 😉 4y

Pickpick

Completed the last novel in #ReadingMM (sigh, denial it's end ;o)

After reading her mysteries, I feel Miss Marple has led me through evils of people in her time. Plots have become predictable despite the twists.
3 & half ⭐⭐⭐ for this

Nonetheless, the company of Miss Marple makes her books a WIN for me. Will move on to the various short stories with the 'old pussy'

Still on track to finish 3 books for #NutsinMay just not the planned titles 😉

Was looking up titles for #ReadYourSign when a #currentRead for #ReadingMM turned up (prompt - published in the year I was born ;)
Some great titles were published that year!

Incidentally that's the year Dame Christie passed away. That book was published posthumously, some 30 years after she had written it

St James has yet to disappoint me with her eerie settings, dangerous secrets and captivating characters! #BOTMBuddyRead
Despite chilling spooks, I couldn't put it down and finished it past Friday midnight. Satisfying end (wish Viv had a different ending tho) yet sad to say goodbye to the characters who had gripped me.
So it was a pleasant surprise that the next title in #ReadingMM has some spooky elements! Perfect follow-up, methinks #NutsinMay

#ReadingMM reluctantly I read through Book 11 as it means nearing the end of Miss Marple series.
Figuring out the crime to solve, the injustice to remedy was the bigger mystery than uncovering the killer (plot soon became predictable) but the constant company of Miss Marple makes her books always a pick for me.
Moving onto the next title seemed right time as I had finished the other book (the next post!)

I read this between April 26 & 39 and rated it 4.5 ⭐️. I have not been to keen on Miss Marple, largely because in the 2 or 3 stories, I‘ve read featuring her, she really does little to solve the crime and she didn‘t seem to be the feisty lady detective I was lead to believe she was. In this book, she is very active & feisty. This is one of my favourite Christie novels.

BookishMe Not sure if you have read 4 50 from Paddington or Nemesis. She appears throughout those stories and I like them better, for her constant presence ;D 4y
Aaronlisa @BookishMe no I have not yet. I had been reading the books in order until this year when I decided to participate in the readathon that the official Christie website hosts. I will be sure to check those two out. Thanks 4y
BookishMe You're reading all the Agatha Christie books in order? I only attempted the Miss Marple series as I found myself enjoying her stories more #ReadingMM 4y

Aaronlisa @BookishMe I was trying to do it but it was hard. Then I discovered that Agatha Christie‘s website was doing a challenge this year to read 12 of her books fitting a theme and there is quite a bit of flexibility with the books. I am glad I did because I had kind of written off Miss Marple but this book was really good. 4y
BookishMe 👍🏽 👍🏽 Glad you enjoyed it ;D 4y
