I enjoyed the writing and multi-faceted approach to this. A good book that should be read.

There were some things I loved and some I didn‘t. All in all, for this writing style, I think I prefer Douglas Adams.

A good follow up after a serious/hard book.
Binti is a Himba woman who dares to leave for her dream and runs into some unexpected space trouble.
The depth of feeling I have for Binti so quickly into her story speaks so well of the writing. There are so many cool little details. I want to know more about humans in this time! Looking forward to reading the next one. I want to see Binti‘s future.

This was a tough read, but an important one. Shows the everyday hardships and tragedies these women faced and how they shaped their growth - beyond what they imagined they could.

A heartbreaking story with a better end than I expected.
Perhaps a bad pick for a Reading Rush - It‘s a tough book and hard to read a lot of at a time.

Read for the #ReadingRush2020 for the birthstone challenge (it is very garnet appropriate with the multiple shades of red on the cover!). This was occasionally problematic but overall excellent, and I'm excited to see where the series goes from here. 4.5⭐

1. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. A re-read but an enjoyable one.
