Not book related but we moved Sami into her dorm yesterday. We were greeted with a rainbow. Plus her first snow of the year today ❄️
Got her an early Valentine‘s Day gift when she found a stuffed dog that reminded her of Sherlock. She got me the same one so we‘d match! #ReadyNotReady to leave tomorrow. #proudmom

#ReadyNotReady is what I‘m feeling as my daughter gets ready to start college in 2 weeks.
Reading this series together before she leaves is one way to knock out a series for #SeriesLove2023.

I‘m ready for her to start her next chapter & I know she‘s excited and (thanks to volleyball & the recruiting process) will be surrounded by amazing people right from the start. But, I‘m going to miss her SO MUCH & can‘t believe I won‘t see her everyday.

My daughter starts college in 2 weeks after graduating high school early. She‘s going 7 hours from home 🙁. She‘s asked me to buddy read the entire KOTLC series with her before she leaves. 🤓
We have the annotated first book which is “Almost a Chunkster”. Love discussing books with her 💙 On to book 2.

That‘s so crazy My Son graduated HS a year ago to complete his associates degree (he technically should have graduated in June) finished 2 associates degrees in Dec (dual enrolled in HS) and leaves for college also in 2 weeks and has been asking me to read this series also! Handed to me and I keep telling him I will… Are you struggling with her leaving? I‘m a MESS! What school? 1y

Read4life @Chrissyreadit I‘m #ReadyNotReady 😂 I know she‘s ready and excited but I can‘t believe I won‘t be seeing her everyday. She‘s going to Susquehanna in PA. Because of volleyball, we‘ve been there 4 weekends since she committed and was accepted. That really helped me see her interactions and meet people she‘ll be spending a lot of time with. I know she‘ll be in good hands and I‘ve seen how happy she is there. But I‘m still SO EMOTIONAL 🥹 1y
