pickPub date May 15: Another #SixTudorQueens novel from #AlisonWeir. Not as much is known about Jane Seymour, as hardly any artifacts or letters were left from her short 3 yr reign. Weir dubs her The Haunted Queen, weighed by guilt about Anne‘s demise and her inability to halt Henry and Cromwell‘s pilfering and ruin of the churches. As I have found all of these books in the series, it was entertaining with the kicker being the Author‘s Note.
If you enjoy the Tudor period, I recommend #SixTudorQueens series by #AlisonWeir. I‘ve enjoyed the two previous books on Katherine Aragon The True Queen and Anne Boleyn A Kong‘s Obession. It‘s nice to learn more about the not as popular queens and we have three more books in the series to look forward to!
#JaneSeymour The Haunted Queen is being released on May 15th. I do prefer the UK covers over these US ones though.
pickAnne Boleyn: A King's Obsession was really dense, but I liked it! Everyone knows Anne's story, but it's the same story portrayed over & over again. This book goes beyond that into her day-to-day life.
