Wow. This was eye opening. It should be required reading. The affordable housing crisis is a serious problem. I read this for the now defunct #SocialAwarenessBookClub, and I am so glad that is did.

Anyone on Goodreads know what happened to the #socialawarenessbookclub? I don‘t see it on my group list and I don‘t see Lauren‘s Litsy account here.

shadowspeak17 I have no clue. I was wondering that too. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 6y
Birdsong28 I am still getting the notifications for the group so it must be still there. 😁📚📖 6y
shadowspeak17 @Birdsong28 Have you gotten any today? I got one yesterday, but when I went to check it, it disappeared and I couldn‘t find the group anymore. 6y

sprainedbrain I can‘t find it either. ☹️ 6y
Birdsong28 @dariazeoli I think it is gone as I checked on the group's I was in and it's only showing 1 as it showed 2 when the social awareness group was there. You could contact Goodreads and see what is going on. 6y
Weaponxgirl I was wondering what happened too 6y

An absolutely chilling account of the systematic decimation of Osage tribe members over their head rights for oil during the 1920s. I wouldn't have grabbed this if it wasn't for the #SocialAwarenessBookClub and @laurenslibrary! Thinking about this for #Booked2019 #PoliticalIntrigue too.

CorinnaBechko This is the second time t huh is week I've heard someone praise this book. Must be time for me to read it! 6y
IamIamIam @CorinnaBechko It's a sign!! The story is heartbreaking but it's a great read. Well organized and researched and you really get to know the Osage characters. 6y
CorinnaBechko @IamIamIam just the kind of thing I've been looking for! 6y
