Not a great pilot, but a reliable one, Wellum reflects the sad reality of the normal soldier - there is only a limited amount of courage,of fortitude. He started his career with three close friends - two of who were dead before training was over, the third within weeks of being assigned to a squadron. After two years of action you are no longer a useful aviator.

pickThis book takes you on quite the adventure! I‘m typically a slow reader many times taking a week or two to finish a book...not the case here! I finished this one in 48hrs! I couldn‘t put it down! The cast of characters are not only likable but felt so real. The adventure that you go on with Livy is thrilling, breathtaking and daring! Definitely a 5 star rating from me!
