Plum Lovin' | Janet Evanovich

Mehso-so

Just finish Plum Lovin' by Janet Evanovich. It was just ok. Not sure I understood some of the book with the unmentionable skills. It was recommended to me by a lady I met at the library sale. I bought 2 books by Janet Evanovich so I am hoping the other book is better.

#FriyayIntro

1. Love it! There was period during college where I think it‘s all I read.
2. Stay in! We are doing our normal wings and tator tots while watching TV. Currently, enjoying The Office.
3. Chocolate. The answer is always chocolate.
4. Tonks and Lupin, Jane and Mr. Rochester, and Stephanie and Ranger (I know Stephanie hasn‘t decided, but I have.) Oh, Jim and Pam. (see #2)

Laughterhp Wings and tater tots sounds like a great at home date night💚💚 5d
Bookzombie @Laughterhp It is! Thanks! 💝 5d
Crazeedi My hubby brought wings home for us too!!💕 5d
Bookzombie @Crazeedi Yum! My husband cooks our Friday night wings at home, but we also go to Wing Stop often. Where do you get your wings from? 4d
Crazeedi @Bookzombie at our local bar or legion! 4d

My Husband cleaned the house while he let me go to McKays by myself to have another #BookHaul He knows the way to my heart ❤️ The far right stack is full of books for friends/family that are collecting them, but the left two are for me and for the Girls‘ collections! On the way back, stopped and got some goodies for Him and the Girls. Now he is having a night out by himself browsing gadgets. Then movies when he gets home. Great Valentine‘s Day 😍

Pickpick

Another fun adventure with Stephanie Plum. If you are looking for something to pass the time, this is the book for you. I had fun reading about the shenanigans of Stephanie Plum. I can‘t wait to see what happens in the next book, and which guy she will end up with. 📚⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Scochrane26 Hate to tell you, but she still hasn‘t decided as of Book 25. People have told me there‘s some progress made in 26. 1w
brittanythebookdragon The indecision even up to book 18 is why I stopped reading them. I was just over it. Seeing @Scochrane26 say it‘s up to 25 really just turns me off. 1w

Sad to hear that another great mystery writer has died. #MaryHigginsClark

gradcat @EadieB I agree! Even though I stopped reading her books (after about ten of them, perhaps—she was really a prolific writer), I think she wrote well written books, which is not always the case these days. She was just a writing fiend! ♥️ 2w
EadieB @gradcat She was the Nora Roberts of Mystery books. 2w
Crazeedi @EadieB @gradcat I saw this a couple days ago, I read her books long long time ago, then stopped reading when they got rather predictable. But she definitely had an impact on me in my younger years 💔 2w

EadieB @Crazeedi Her books are easy mystery. I prefer more complex mysteries 2w
Crazeedi @EadieB yes, but they were a good in between nancy drew and adult type murder mysteries! 2w
EadieB @Crazeedi I think when she was popular there really wasn't the type of mysteries we read today. I think in those days they were mostly simple mystery. 2w
gradcat @EadieB @Crazeedi I agree 💯 % with both of you...only balance, I think she lands in the cozy category, or perhaps romance mystery. But she was prolific, and a stalwart of female mystery writers, and for that, I salute her. Nowadays, all types of media seem to me to be a lot more complex, as Eadie notes. Good to visit with you guys...hope you are both well. ♥️♥️ 2w
Crazeedi @gradcat @EadieB definitely she was a trailblazer in many ways. But there were other mysteries early on, think Rex Stout, those are excellent 2w
gradcat @Crazeedi Oh, I love the Rex Stout books...haven‘t read one in a while, though... 2w
Crazeedi @gradcat I read them as a series years ago, my daughter turned me on to them! 2w
EadieB @Crazeedi @gradcat In my library, I have 22 Rex Stout books but only read a couple! 2w
Crazeedi @EadieB @gradcat they are delicious! My daughter let me borrow her whole series. I totally enjoyed them. Actually a series I might reread sometime 2w
EadieB @Crazeedi I need to read more too! 2w
gradcat @EadieB @Crazeedi I‘m sure I read at least 5 or 6, possibly (or probably) more, but I love them. I even loved the old TV show with Timothy Hutton & Maury Chaykin—the time period is one of my faves! ♥️ 2w

So incredibly sad to hear that Mary Higgins Clark passed away. She was one of those authors that just made me want to read. I fell in love with her thrillers as a young adult and have read all of her books. She has left a legacy with many readers across the world. 💔
