monalyisha @Nute They look nice but they make it so much harder to turn the page. (“An Untamed State” was my pick for book club, which is tomorrow, & I‘m just starting the book now. Eek! Wish me luck!) 4y

Soubhiville I could take them or leave them. I like the way the look, but sometimes find the pages harder to turn. This is a great book, although heavy. I hope you get through it. (And now as I scroll the comments I see you thought the same as me!) 4y

monalyisha @mrp27 That‘s so bizarre! I‘ve worked in bookstores, too, but have never had that happen! I definitely had people try to return books because they read them & didn‘t like them... 4y
mrp27 Right?! I had plenty of that too. Some people didn't like my explanation that that's the way the book was designed and wanted a new copy, some didn't realize it was deliberately designed that way and accepted it. 4y
