These mango cranberry black tea cookies from #TheCookieMuseum are delicious. Perfect snack while reading! I figured I should take a pic before I finish them off.😂 Also, I find this chapter heading funny.

rockpools The cookies look amazing! Lovely pic. 7y
Chachic @RachelO Thank you! 😊 The cookies were yummy, I feel like I can finish the whole tin in one sitting. 7y

#bookanddessert! I dropped by The Cookie Museum and they had these two flavors that I wanted to get before but were out of stock: mango cranberry black tea and lychee lavender. I'm such a sucker for unusual dessert flavors.

Jaimelire Say what? Cookie museum....that sounds amazing! 7y
tournevis In Singapour? 7y
LeahBergen I just love these tins! 7y

Chachic @Jaimelire I love the flavors that they have! I just wish they were more affordable.😁 7y
Chachic @tournevis Yes, in Singapore.😉 7y
Chachic @LeahBergen Me too! I use my old tin cans to store tea and washi tape.😆 7y
Chachic @tournevis I'm sure you also have good desserts where you're located?😋 7y
tournevis @Chachic Well yes, but super fancy rare cookies and fun stuff like that? Super hard to find. 7y
Chachic @tournevis Ahh yes, it's not that common here in Singapore either! If you have Crabtree and Evelyn there (not sure where you are?), they also have some nice cookies. They're a bit too sweet for me though. 7y
tournevis @Chachic We do have them, but most C&E stores around here only carry their beauty products and not their cookies. Which is sad. 7y
Chachic @tournevis Ah they're like that in Manila! So I buy the cookies for friends and family whenever I go home. 7y

Moving on to the tea time portion of #LitsyPartyofOne: TWG tea and scones with Laduree earl grey jelly. And snacks for the rest of the weekend: Fannie May chocolates (received as a gift), Venchi chocolates (that I put in a book box), mango rose and earl grey rose cookies. Pretty obvious that I have a sweet tooth. Also thinking of starting a fantasy novel this weekend, maybe the one I tagged here?

I believe it's obvious based on my feed that I'm a foodie. So it goes without saying that I enjoy well-written #foodiefiction. Here are three that I've loved and would highly recommend. Make sure you have snacks on hand while you read them! 📚☕🍰

RealLifeReading Tasty picks! 7y
Chachic @RealLifeReading They really are! I liked this prompt.😁 7y
LeahBergen I love these tins! 💗 7y
Chachic @LeahBergen The tins were half the reason why I bought these cookies. Although they taste great too, earl grey rose and strawberry grand marnier.😋😋 7y

Anthologies tend to be slow reads for me because I would read a couple of the stories then tend to forget about the book. I started these before the holiday season and I still haven't finished them yet. Also, I bought more limited edition Chinese New Year cookies! Earl grey rose and strawberry marnier, perfect for tea time.🍵💖

frankincense_and_sensibility Earl grey rose sounds like the greatest tea cookie imaginable. 7y
MeganB Those cookies sound amazing! 7y
Chachic @frankincense_and_sensibility Right? I knew I had to get it as soon as I heard they have it. I'm a sucker for tea-flavored desserts. They also had a lychee lavender flavor that I was curious about, but it was sold out. 7y

Chachic @MeganB They have really interesting flavors! Kind of whimsical, I think. I was also considering a champagne lychee flavor. They also had cherry pistachio and blueberry vanilla. 7y
MeganB Ok, adding champagne cookies to my list of foods I need to eat before I die, that sounds awesome! 7y
Chachic @MeganB Wah, you're making me want to go back to the cookie store and buy that flavor! 7y

I don't really have a favorite snack for today's #readjanuary prompt but just bought these Mango Rose cookies (candied rose, mango and macadamia nuts) from The Cookie Museum, & they're perfect to munch on while reading. I love the fruity and floral flavors of this shop's cookies, and how their selections change every few months. Gorgeous packaging too, that's their paperbag on the left.

Lacythebookworm Cookie Museum?!? Where? 😍 7y
RealLifeReading Pretty packaging!! Didn't know there was such a place in Singapore!! 7y
clutteredbooks Id probably them just for the packaging. Esp if it varies 😂 7y

Chachic @Lacythebookworm It's a cookie shop here in Singapore, locally made.😊 They have such interesting flavors. 7y
Chachic @RealLifeReading Really? I thought they were quite well-known! They have branches in Raffles City, Marina Square and Takashimaya. You should definitely try them the next time you're in Singapore.😉 7y
Chachic @wanderful.books Yep, each tin can has a different design! I keep the tin cans for storing stuff because they're cute. I would love to buy this brand more often if it was more affordable.😂 7y
Lacythebookworm @Chachic Yet another reason I need to visit Singapore! I meet several librarians from Singapore at an international library conference last year and had the best discussions with them about libraries there. 😊 7y
Chachic @Lacythebookworm Oh you should definitely visit for a vacation! 😁 Drop by the Philippines (my home country) while you're at it. I don't know much about libraries here because as a foreigner, I need to pay a fee to become a member. I did it for the first year I was here but didn't feel like it was worth renewing afterwards. 7y
clutteredbooks How much is the membership fee? 7y
Chachic @wanderful.books I think it was 55sgd per year so around 2k pesos. Di kasi sulit for me dahil di naman marami nabasa kong books from the library. 7y
Chachic @MeganB The cookies in this pic are from a sister company of the earl grey rose ones. ☝☝☝ 7y
