I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

A trilogy finish that‘s been on my tbr & physical shelves for way too long. Because it‘s been years😬since I read the preceding instalments so, this was basically read as a stand alone. I very much enjoyed it as much as the others. Strong characters with zing to go with a great storyline.

Sunday reading with snuggly Penny.

I‘m so impressed with Cait Nary‘s range, y‘all. She‘s great at high stress romances (SEASON‘S CHANGE), adorable romcoms (LUCKY BOUNCE), and stuff like this, which slides into that sweet spot where there‘s SOME stress for the characters but it‘s mostly about them, like, finding their way through a scenario they hoped they could avoid but are actually coping with really well. IT‘S SO GOOD. Bring on the back half.

This collection of hard science fiction short stories was a throwback to my youthful engagement with the genre in the best possible way. The selections were well-curated and the stories high-quality; and, as with most anthologies (and boxes of chocolates), if one offering doesn't particularly appeal to your taste the next one will likely hit that sweet spot dead on.

This lost me when there tried to be some deeper meaning in this story. That felt unbelievable, I couldn't believe in all those big emotions after one sex weekend. Well they had known each other longer but it still wasn't believable.

The basic idea behind this story was so absurd and disgusting: not just the age gap but that someone would go to the door of her ex fiancé's father immediately after the break up. I still liked the ending and how Shane treated her.

Secret Society is a story about two best friends, Celess and Tina, who have been friends since childhood. Now grown, their lives are full of adventure. They frequent nightclubs, date only wealthy men, and live a life of luxury. However, they harbor a serious secret that could cost them every thing.

I have been reading these books out of order. Technically they can all be read as stand-alones. However, I wish this particular book I had read sooner since it is about characters that are repeatedly mentioned in later books. Still enjoyed and was glad to fill in some blanks. 4⭐️

This is book 6 in the series. It is a stand alone book but I wished I had read in order since Jessica is a minor character in other books. Also, Nial is mentioned often since he is the leader of the Coalition.

I liked that this book had more plot in it. The characters worked and we get a bit more development in this book. 4⭐️
