It's been awhile since I last read Nordic noir and this was really good at that. I like Jo Nesbo's characters and it was nice that he had made his character travel to Australia to solve a crime. I liked the stories and the theme of aboriginal culture was so intriguing. This was part of my #LitsyReadingChallenge as #TranslatedFromAnotherLanguage I think it originally written in Norwegian.
This took a little while because all conversation is within the narrative paragraphs instead of split out with quotation marks, making it a little difficult to follow sometimes. The characters were very well developed and this was an interesting story. I've already picked up another book by the author. So happy to discover this as my #SouthAmericanAuthor for #ReadHarder2017 and #TranslatedFromAnotherLanguage #LitsyRC15 #LitsyChallenge2017

Yesterday I finished The training. It's a great book. I loved it! Everything about it was perfect: the characters, the story, the ending...Just wow! Abby and Nathaniel were perfect for each other. Another great book in this series. 😍💝🔝

#LRC15 #translatedfromanotherlanguage Picked by my book club... I'm a sucker for a quirky tale, full of humor, a good dose of the melancholy, and just a little magic. So this was just my kind of book. At times laugh out loud funny, yet packed with complex characters whose heart-breaking stories are revealed as Elsa makes the 'apology tour' for her grandmother. And I totally want to be granny when I grow up!..... #Litsyreadingchallenge
