I‘m really not much into poetry, but I have both of her books and I can relate to some of it...
Subtitled “in memory of a beloved cat”, Jenkins wrote this poem for her sister Mary after the death of her beloved 12-year-old cat. The image is of my own 11-year-old cat, Millie, who died of a blood clot in July last year.
