A day home.Snow/freezing rain expected.I was surprised! I have to laugh when I think of all of you in states with heavy snowfall,because today we expect 3-4 inches.Snow supposed to start falling at 10:00. We have no walkers in our district due to lack of sidewalks.Thus, it becomes a busing issue & at times the bus company‘s call. No complaints here; I woke at the same time I always do.It‘s been quiet, contemplative.☕️📚🙏🏻

pickThis was a deeply reflective and also heartbreaking read, given current events in Gaza. Nikondeha positions the stories of Advent in their historical as well as present-day context, offering fresh insights and thought-provoking connections I hadn‘t previously considered. Her discussion of Mary and Elizabeth as a story of resistance was profoundly moving for me this Advent.
pickA children‘s Christmas book with 25 chapters so could probably be used as an advent calendar as well.
A pixie looses his hat and mittens in some bad weather and where to the wind take them but to the rabbits. The rabbits suddenly starts hearing about a pixie coming for Christmas and start preparing.
The illustrations were amazing and I particularly loved all the ones with rabbits in them.
