Pickpick

A marvelous time, loved as much as the other poetry collection I read by this author. I love the design decision to show the word, the letters falling down I to the other words constructed, on a page with the artist's embellishments, and the poem in standardized formatting on the next page, along with the colour differential, white for the art pages and red for the constructed poem pages. 1/2

Robotswithpersonality 2/2 An enjoyable compilation of creativity with a very summery cover. If you want something poolside that's as refreshing as your drink of choice, pick this up. 🍋 4d

I enjoyed some of the humor in this book, and the story was pretty good, but overall it was just okay. I wanted more resolution (Colin couldn‘t find some random connection to save the factory? Was there any fallout from Lindsey‘s breakup? What happened when Colin and Hassan went home?). Not bad, but not great either.

It was fine. I liked it a lot at the beginning, then halfway through I started spacing out. I‘m not even 100% sure how it ended and that doesn‘t bother me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fun play on words that turns poetry into puzzles.

Poetry. Unique and fun idea, This author uses letters from only one word to come up with a poem about that word. Reminds me of an anagram, a riddle, and a puzzle all squeezed into one. Very creative idea and the simple illustrations add a nice touch to the book.

For Wednesday‘s #bookquote, I‘m sharing this one from the book An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green. This is my favorite quote from the book. I read this book in 2015 and I really enjoyed it.
