Continuing my novella streak with this gem by Alyssa Cole. A fun fandom romp with tons of fangirl feels, representation, and banter. Really wish I could watch Reject Squad Ultra, such a cool concept!!!!

This was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Seriously loved this it book it was the perfect combination of steam and angst with a dash of suspense to keep the plot moving.

Trigger warnings for.... age gap, power imbalance and parent death.

"But we all make choices about people. Who we want to hold close, who we want to remain in our lives, and who we are just fine without. I choose not to dwell on my father's rotating-door style of parenting, and instead reflect on my grandmother's choice to not only bring me home from the hospital and raise me, but also to offer me a fighting chance."

This might be the first #romance novel that I have liked in my life. So much so, that I am considering to read the other books in the series. Gasp!! 😂😂😂

This was right up my alley. A family drama that managed to be engaging and thought provoking despite it being fairly short.

This my #RHC pick for task 3: A book by a woman and/or #AOC that won a literary award in 2018.

Currently reading. I would never have picked this one up if it weren‘t for Bookriot‘s Read Harder challenge. But this satisfies the historical romance by an aoc and it‘s quite good so far! Lots of vivid history and the romantic interest isn‘t overdone.

Kathrin I read this for the same prompt and I liked it for the same reasons. 7mo

I‘m cheating (slightly) for today‘s #agameoffavorites... the author is FROM another country but now is an American... but this still is my favorite book. 😂 And my god, his top 10 on goodreads is about to have me even MORE in love with him. I‘m super excited that one of them happens to be “Astrophysics for People in a Hurry” by Neil Degrasse Tyson, because I‘m also obsessed with NDT and physics!! #authorfromanothercountry #aoc @ErinSueG

bookandcat Love NDT, though I liked his Origins book more. Do you listen to Star Talk at all? He and Bill Nye might be hosting a Star Talk cruise!!!!! 1y
nelehelen I‘m reading this right now too!! 1y

#agameoffavorites #AOC Maya‘s books made a massive impression on me when I was younger. A couple of her favourites are Invisible Man & A Tale of Two Cities.

7 | #AGameOfFavorites

One of my recent fave reads is The Hate U Give by #AOC Angie Thomas. Alongside excellent writing skills, she also has awesome taste in books, with Jacqueline Woodson and J.K. Rowling her ‘big two‘.
