panThis was the weakest book out of the trilogy in my opinion. I understand there was a lot of character development, but the plot dragged on. I found myself getting bored. And the plot of wanting to fix genetically damaged people felt weak at best. Caleb volunteering to die or Peter wanting to wipe his own memories just didn't seem in their nature, unless I missed something.

so-soI felt I had to read this out of my love for cheesy Nicholas Sparks novels, as bad as they can be sometimes. But this was just okay. Spent way too much time on the demise of a marriage and not enough on the good stuff. Oh well.
