If there was ever an author who could pull me out of a month + reading and litsy slump, it's Kasie West. Seriously though, I had not read a book since early April. I picked this up, finished it in 3 days and have since finished 5 other books.

It's been a crazy week and I'm entering into another crazy week as well. But I thought I would get a quick review in and check out what everyone's reading tonight while I can!

I finished this on Thursday and I'm still not sure what I think. It had some flips and some unpredictabilty but the end was like very anticlimactic to the journey.

I loved this story, I loved the beautifulmy written characters and the story of hope admist all the pain they faced.

I liked this book, but I'm still processing my thoughts. The begining was hard to follow, especially on Audio. I had no idea what was going on until hour 3 and then suddenly I was submersed in this crazy love story like what?!? Then BAM there was a great twist I wasn't expecting, but should have been. So yeah, it was a crazy good ride!

Finally getting this one off my TBR list makes me happy. I absolutely loved it. I am a lover of comics and unrequited love is the story of my life, so naturally, this book was perfect for me.

Book 5 of this weekend is done. I figured out who was behind the bombs about 1/3 of the way through, but the suspense of seeing who lived abd how they survived made it worth continuing. It was not necessarily my favorite, but it was still a good read.

This one was just okay. I thought it was similar to Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, but that Daria was a much more likable character. I really only picked this one up because of it's beautiful cover.

I was nearly done with this audio book this morning so it was easy to finish. A fantastic story about finding yourself after years of being forced to hide and stay quiet. A lesson of love for yourself and others is mixed in with it. A great read.

I will be honest, I was very skeptical for the first third of the book. Then I started to see why this was such a popular read and fell in love. Eleanor Oliphant is an amazingly peculiar character, I absolutely fell in love with her and wanted to be her friend.

Spoiled this one (and myself) while big bro is at a 76er's game. He is currently devouring The Percy Jackson series and I fully enjoyed tha tagged book. There are a lot of triggers in it (listed at the front of the book actually), but there is also healing and self-love. I love a happy ending!

Along for the Ride was in the middle of a 3 and a 4 for me. I felt like the character development was good in the beginning, but lacking at the end. Clearly struggling, I wanted Auden's parents to realize their wrongs and finally be there for her. I wanted her families to overcome their struggles and I wanted Auden to stand up for herself. I also felt like the book was lengthy, spending too much time on irrelevant things.

I finished the ARC provided to me by #netgalley and I'm glad I only have to wait two days for the full book to release. I loved the three main characters and how they came together and am very curious to see the rest of the novel play out!

Wow. Let me just say this book is powerful. I read it to my boys over the past month and they were so intrigued by the stories and it allowed for dialogue about a topic often not spoken of with kids. We all loved it. I cried during many sections. We all cried tonight as we finished the book.

I will say the writing is rough at times but if you can over look it, it's worth the read.

The Salt to the Sea is a beautifully written tragedy that weaves in historical information that is little known. I was captivated by the four main characters, wanting to know more of their stories and hoping for the best for each of them as they journeyed. Each character has a distinct voice, past and present woven into their stories in a way that makes your heart long to know them more.

If you love Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, and Lauren Graham you need to read this book. Or listen to it. I loved listening to the Audiobook and hearing Lauren cracking herself up.
I loved that she gave us her own perspective as she watched Gilmore Girls for the first time herself and loved to find out about her dating Peter Krause - honestly, I had no idea but found it to be a perfect fit after thinking about it.

This was a read to stretch myself. I will be honest, I enjoy movies like this, but never thought I would enjoy books like this.
And it was not as bad as I thought. It was not my favorite, but I found myself engaged in the story, none the less.
I liked Rapp - his level headed desire to protect and defend our country, liked that he was not in it to kill others, but rather for justice.

Rashad is absent again today.
This book was well written from both the perspective of Rashad and Quinn. I felt both authors did a phenomenal job at creating characters we could identify with and feel for as they progressed through the book. Each character struggled with what they experienced and struggled with others opinions because of what they experienced. I appreciate the bravery it took to stand up for what is right.
