I mean, it's Sarah Moss so of course it's good!
There were storylines, though, that I would happily have read whole books about and so (unreasonably) feel a little short-changed.

Happy Halloween from Angelina Ballerina and Felix “the Cat!” 🐭🩰🐈⬛🐶

After 🩰 exam rehearsal on Sun I did over Vinnies. Grand total🟰 $23. The 📕 includes a gorgeous pop up. Afterwards I went to the Veteran‘s markets but every1 was packing up so I didn‘t come away with anything. I usually come away with lots. I walked home picking up a click & collect on the way, I visited the Metro for groceries, had my Zoom 🩰 class then visited my aunt who was staying in the apartments next 🚪. My favourite cousin was there too.

This is the author‘s debut published in 1995. It‘s published as a novel but feels like it has to be a memoir. A section on the character‘s father, one on the mother, one on the experience of ballet dancers, and one on falling for a married Russian immigrant. As I was reading it I thought the writing was too simple, but by the end I realized how impactful the descriptions were and how close I felt to the characters. #10BeforetheEnd #offtheshelf
