I know it‘s Saturday but I didn‘t have a happy reading hour yesterday. I‘ve been working but now I am at Nice Airport in France and do as the locals do: drink Pastis. Do you know it? It‘s perfect under the circumstances!

BarbaraBB @Aims42 It‘s an anise flavored French spirit that you mix with water. It tastes a bit like licorice and you have to drink it in small sips. Then it‘s lovely! 23h

#FridayHappyReadingHour is here 🥳 I‘m reading the tagged book (I was expecting a history of NYC and Cheesecake and instead I‘m getting fiction. No complaints but not what I was expecting at all 🤣) along with an Orange Cream Poppi drink. We‘re going to a minor league baseball game later so I‘m saving my “adult beverage” for a beer at the game. Cheers!! 🍻

Sparklemn I attended my first minor league baseball game a few weeks ago. Loved it! Not sure if wholesome is the correct word but something like that as compared to major league game. (edited) 1w

Aims42 @Sparklemn I love minor league games, I‘m so glad your first experience was a home run ⚾️♥️ We have a minor league, well it‘s “independent” now that‘s a 15 drive down the road. We love going to the games; tix are cheaper, parking is easy and if we leave early because it‘s a blow out, we don‘t feel guilty for spending allllllllll that money lol 1w
