Gone with the Wind (Anniversary) | Margaret Mitchell

Confession: I adore Scarlett. She's a B, but she's also the first real character I ever read. I read this when I was 12/13 (after seeing the movie countless times), and I can still remember being struck by her humanness. Everyone hates her, but under all of it, she's so strong yet fragile. Cue the mean girl playlist.

My first epic novel. Mitchell writes a novel that captures a romantic vision of the past, though far from accurate. #35bookparty
