Tdumatrait @JoeStalksBeck the students know that I have a reputation. One parent told another teacher that I was heartless. In a meeting with the principal she called me cold hearted. I stopped her and asked how I could be cold hearted if I was heartless. The principal had to turn around :). My students know that I will bend over backwards for them. My parents know that I am dissecting what they say when they talk to me. 7y
JoeStalksBeck @Tdumatrait I had a professor like that. He would do anything for you if you could just understand he was doing his job by pushing students to work hard. I loved him because I loved that he did that but most students hated him. I ended up doing research with him and he got my tuition waved for 2 semesters ! 7y

NovelGirl82 @Tdumatrait My senior AP English/AP Humanities teacher was described that way by many, but I describe her as one of my 3 favorite and most influential educators to this day, including college professors. She pushed me to be my best self, and I will forever be grateful for that! Also, she hissed like a cat at the freshmen, which was hysterical to watch! 😂😂 7y
