pickJ. K. Rowling's latest Robert Galbraith novel is excellent. The continued development of the characters and relationship of Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott provides a strong center to the mystery that creates the arc of the book. Great, convincing set of red herrings and ultimate killer.

pickThe only thing I really have to say about this book is OH MY GOD. I was so stressed reading this, what with chapters from the murderer‘s perspective and threats to Robin‘s safety, and with all the personal stuff we learn about Robin and Strike. And then it ended on a cliffhanger??? JK Rowling, why must you do this to me???

It's weird to me that this book is taking so long to get through. I'm enjoying it (just like the first two Cormoran Strike books, which I devoured) but I keep reading a bit, putting it down, reading something else and then come back to it.
