There's nothing like a wedding to give people #hope, particularly in the darkest of times. But also, it's a place to pick up information, be confounded by conflicting stories, to hear poignant memories, and to make new ones (Ron and Hermione), and to ask questions (why is Lupin looking so 😔?) Elphias, Aunt Muriel and Krum all give Harry much to ponder. Also, I love Ginny's name - Ginevra.

Some of it is. But not all. There have been oblique references scattered through the book, and the whole story is revealed eventually. It's good to see Rowling put the effort into developing secondary characters to this extent. Part of the charm of the books. #secrecy is usually not beneficial to many. I love this image btw.

I had forgotten how much animosity there is between Ron & Hermione in this book. I am not sure Crookshanks is worth fighting over... however, he seems to have Scabbers' number, doesn't he? Can't wait to see who asks for forgiveness first.
