#AcrossApril #ChildrensBookDay If you asked me I would probably say I don‘t keep /collect kids books. After all, I seem to collect so many types of books, plus no little ones in the family right now. The shelves tell a different story .I guess that right combination of beautiful illustrations and subject matter that means more to me,(Robert Louis Stevenson/baseball)means they will be hanging out in the collection awhile.⚾️⚓️

Eggs Oh I‘m really attracted to these-beautiful art, and ❤️ Ogden Nash! 5y

#childrensbookday #acrossapril @Eggs

If you're at home with children aged 9+ who like ancient history I can recommend this series! There's 17 books in total so plenty of them to last the quarantine.

Eggs Great choice 👏🏻👏🏻 5y

#AcrossApril Day 2: #ChildrensBookDay reminded me of this picturebook bio of famous children‘s book author EB White. It is clear that being in a space where he could “hear the wind” contributed greatly to his creativity, provided the inspiration that allowed his voice to come through in the pages, along with his love for stillness and spiders and the sunrise. I shared a review of Fats of this book previously, here is mine: https://wp.me/pDlzr-lFO
