My reading is all over the #BookSpinBingo board! I'm number 108 on holds list for The Wedding People - I'll have that on my board for the next month or two 😆

Make a great day everyone 🎃

Our library picked this as it's big community read, so I gave it a try. It's really well written and interesting, for sure. Beautiful prose, deep explorations of grief, women's issues, and displacement, and a Colorado setting make this book really shine. It did have the parade of painful tragedies that make me hate historic fiction. I loved hearing from the author during an author presentation at the library. She's wonderful. #ColoradoAuthor

Kenyazero I didn‘t feel that the ableism surrounding the uncle was warranted or served a purpose in this narrative. 3w
Kenyazero Used for #OwlHouseReadathon Caleb: forbidden romance, murder, a mysterious character/backstory, family betrayal; and #GottaCatchEmAll Morgrem: has a playlist @PuddleJumper 3w

Backroads were flush with autumn colors🍁🍁,skies blue,sun shining.Light sweater weather.Twice a year we chose an indie bookstore(s)to visit.In Breakwater Books,lots of poetry,regional books,comprehensive fiction section,smaller non-fiction, & of course Halloween,horror themed books.Staff were friendly & knowledgeable.Lunch:turkey,lettuce on sour dough bread. #daytrip

I‘m not a knitter so there were far too many intricate knitting details for me. But this cast of characters was awesome and made you root for them. There was a team approach vs do it alone sleuth that I loved. I had the killer at one of two people, so not a ton of mystery there. Overall though it was a very good story! I‘ll definitely read more.

This book absolutely gutted me and I finished it with sobs wracking my body! Saying that, I loved it… so raw and emotional that I couldn‘t get enough! Highly recommend this to anyone who needs/wants a good cry!
